First week home

I can't believe a week has already gone by since Lily was born! It has been a good week and we are cherishing these moments we have together as a family. Joe has been able to stay at home with me and my mom and his mom have been a great help, too.
I'm breastfeeding which has been quite the learning experience but I think we are getting the hang of it. You always hear people ask new moms "is the baby sleeping through the night?"....no, you can't sleep through the night. I feed Lily just about every 2 hours so unless we can sleep and nurse at the same time....no, we are not "sleeping through the night." :-) However, I'm taking my friends' advice and taking naps during the times that she is sleeping. I don't know what I would do without Joe. He is a great Daddy! Most of the time he lets me feed her and he does most of the other work - burping, rocking, diapers....it's great teamwork.
Well, here are some photos or our first week at home -

Daddy can't get enough kisses

Lily's first doctor's appointment was yesterday and we were thrilled to know she is gaining weight! She weighed 10 lbs. 2 oz. when she was born but had lost weight when we were in the hospital (8 lbs. 15 oz.). She's back up to 10 lbs. YAY!!
She had to get dressed up for her first road trip
Lily's pediatrician, Dr. McCants
We went by to see the staff at my OBGYN's office...they were anxious to meet her
Dr. Corbett - first time she held her since she took her out of my stomach
Her Aunt Tammy and Uncle Jeff and Coley came to visit
