Her latest "things"

"Daw" is Lily's favorite word this week.  She has discovered the land of coloring books, colors, pens, drawing paper and throughout the day she lets us know that it's time to "daw"...."daw Mommy"...."daw Doe" (that's another story - she usually calls Joe "honey" or "daddy" but lately she has been calling him "Doe").  It is so fun to watch her because she has to have all the colors in her hands at the same time when she's "dawing." 

So, just in the last week or so I've noticed that she is speaking in sentences!  "Mommy, I need tandy" (that's what she said to me on the way home from the park today.  she calls the little fruit chews "candy.")  "No no kitty....no tweet tweet." (because I'm always telling our cat not to terrorize the birds.)  And after running errands yesterday Joe came out to the car to get Lily and when he picked her up he said "what have you been eating?" And she said "chips." (yes, Mommy had to stop and get some Cool Ranch Doritos! And Lily told on me :) )

"Dawing" is a very serious matter (it's so intense that it makes you squinch your toes up)

I left Lily at the table during lunch and walked into the other room and when I got back this is what I found!  (guess they have straps on booster seats for a reason :) )
