In AWE.....again

"The heavens declare His righteousness, And all the peoples have seen His glory." Psalm 97:6

I don't know about you but I am loving this Fall weather!  And we are taking every opportunity to be outside and enjoy it.  Lily has made me more aware of the glory and wonder of nature.  She notices everything! (flowers, butterflies, trees, grass, clouds, the MOON :) )  I can't help but be reminded of when I was born again and first became a follower of Christ.  It was like everything was new to me....just like the song "I was blind but now I see."  I remember looking at nature with new eyes and I was literally in AWE of God's goodness and glory.  Not only did I become a new creation, it was as if the creation became a new creation to me!  I was so thankful that God created all these things for us to enjoy and to show us Him - His glory.  Then as time goes by I begin to take things for granted again.....flowers, animals, sky, stars, all of these beautiful, magnificent things that GOD CREATED.  Then came Lily.  She has given me a fresh outlook on all of these things.  And I have to thank God that He has enabled me to be in awe of Him in this way once again.  As you know, we live in out in the country, so the vastness of a starry night is breathtaking and the tiny beautiful details of the pattern on a butterfly, and the incredible feeling you get when the wind blows and the sun is shining on your face.  Oh Lord, help me not to take these gifts for granted.  They truly show how wonderful you are (Psalm 148).  Thank you for Lily and how she is already in awe of YOU.  Here are a few photos from our outdoor time over the past week.
