It has been a blast watching Lily's personality develop and to catch glimpses of who God created her to be. More than ever before I see that she truly has a mind of her own. I'm not sure if this stems from her new found independance with walking or that she wants to show us that she is in control :) She's always been our smiley little girl until about a week ago and she has shown some "other" expressions. I haven't been able to catch them on camera but they definitely say "I have attitude." And yes, I'll admit it.....I do see myself in her. When she gets frustrated with something - like she's trying to get the baby doll's clothes off and they won't quite cooperate with her, or she's trying to pull the plug out of the bathtub and Mommy has it jammed so far in there that you need a wrench to get it out :) - she gets this little scowl "attitude" look. And it's hard not to laugh at this new phase of development. And her favorite new saying is "uh oh" and I've noticed that I say that ALOT! It's funny all the little things that she picks up from us. (even grunting when she bends down to pick something up) Yes, we are older parents and there is a lot of grunting going on around here! Here are a few photos for your enjoyment (and ours :) )

here's one of her being frustrated -
she's trying to put Blake's hat on her head and it's just not working out
and this shows a little of her "independance" -
we were getting ready for Church on Sunday and
we came in the living room and this is what we found
but attitude or not....
she's still sweet as can be!!!
