Her first Easter

We had a great Easter this year! We spent it with my Dad and our extended family in Olive Branch, MS. The whole gang came over to Dad's on Saturday and we had LOTS of food and LOTS of fun. We even had an Easter egg hunt. :) Lily was happy to see everyone and she got plenty of love, hugs and kisses while we were there.
Easter Sunday was really special because we went to Church with my Dad, his wife, my brother, and several of my cousins. Lily did great in the nursery and we enjoyed a great message from their Pastor about "last words" (the thieves that were crucified on either side of Jesus and Jesus' last words). Every time I hear the words that Jesus spoke when He hung (broken, bruised, beaten) on that Cross it breaks my heart. "Father, forgive them....for they don't know what they are doing." Can you believe He said that about the people who beat him and nailed him to a cross!! And He still says it on our behalf today - "He lives to make intercession for us." Sorry, I just get excited about that....since I'm a sinner in desperate need of a Savior (forgiveness!!).
So, back to our time with the Pryor family....my Dad was so happy to see his granddaughter since they have not seen her since Christmas! I really enjoyed watching him and others bond with Lily. Here are some photos of our time together...
