Parties and a trip to the zoo

Wanted to share a few photos of our last visit with Poppy. We went for his birthday but they wanted to celebrate Lily's birthday too....how can you NOT want to celebrate this sweet girl??!! EVERY day of the year :)

Lily's first birthday cake was a puppy dog

and she wasn't sure how to handle it....

we finally turned the dog around so she

couldn't see his face and she was happier........especially when she got to the chocolate

And she enjoyed playing with her birthday presents

but as you can see she is getting very sleepy

Her new build a bear couldn't even keep

her awake and attentive

The next day we stopped at the zoo before heading back to Alabama.

It was Lily's first time to go to the zoo and we had such fun!!

the elephants were one of her favorites

and the later it got we noticed all the animals were

laying on their backs (I guess it was nap time)

even the meercat was on his back

Lily decided to join them

and it continued when we got in the car

All the partying and walking around the zoo would exhaust anyone :)
