I haven't updated the blog in quite a while but I've been so busy keeping up with this ACTIVE 9 month old! :) She is changing so quickly...but I don't want to forget any of her little quirks. I hope that writing them in the blog will help me to visualize and truly remember each one. I feel like before I can blink she will be in high school!
At 9 months {YOU}
- wave bye bye
- blow bubbles with your mouth (that bbbbb sound)
- whisper
- make a hyperventilating sound when you're excited
- absolutely love other children (and animals)
- say "duck, dog, daddy, ma ma, kitty, and try to say Lily"
- have started whining :(
- always want to stand up
- mimic us (mouth movements or hand motions) - even when we cough or clear our throat
- love to swing and especially love to stand up in my lap while we are swinging
- still love to feed yourself
- have favorite foods: watermelon, ritz crackers, sweet potatoes
- scrunch your nose when you smile
- love to smile and laugh and squeal
- wear 12-18 month clothes
- still wake up at least once a night and get in bed with us (however....for the first time....maybe the second....you slept through the night on your 9 month birthday!! 7:30 pm - 5:00 am)
- pull your hair (and mine)
- won't take a pacifier anymore (since you have 4 teeth)
- have more teeth that will be coming in soon (your gums are swollen on top)
- sing along with your toys that play music
- have favorite shows to watch: Yo Gabba Gabba and Wonder Pets
- are a total wiggle worm! It's getting hard to hold you.
- look beautiful in all colors but especially purple, yellow and green
- sit and play well by yourself and like to pull everything out of your toy box and watch yourself in the mirror
- got to see your new friend, Jonathon Hodges, who was born on July 17 - you squealed when you saw him
