Two teething tots

Lily has 4 teeth coming through and Blake has 2 (I think). As you can see from the pictures from last week...they are a couple of biting babies. The weather has been so nice so we took the walker and stroller and sat outside under the trees.

Yesterday however....was not so much of a fun in the sun kind of day. During Church service the nursery buzzed me to come get Lily. So as I strolled over there I'm thinking....oh, she's probably fussy b/c she wants to eat or her gums are hurting. Oh no. She had thrown up twice by the time I got over there. When I got there she threw up two more times and this went on for most of the afternoon. She started running a fever and you know me....a new, very inexperienced mom....called the doctor. The on call nurse was (un)kind enough to call me back and then made me feel like a real idiot on the phone. I was trying to give her Lily's symptoms and she stopped me and said "wait just a minute....you have told me that she is active and that she's not....what exactly is she?" Anyway, I didn't mean to digress and go in to all of my woes concerning this experience. To conclude - Lily is much better today and I'm thanking the Lord for healing her and for giving me strength and wisdom to get through it. (even dealing with a very rude nurse)

"The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him." Psalm 28:7

Got to love that crinkled nose....she's serious about that teether
Blake likes ice in his teether; Lily prefers frozen apple slices
But, they'll bite on just about anything
My kicked back little man
When we were sitting out there I was admiring: Lily's adorable little legs....
....and Blake's long eye lashes
Love these sweet babies!

LOVE, Love, love all the pictures! It's fun to see both babies!
I know what you mean about the nurses at the doctor's offices. I finally got to the point that I would call my other mommy friends first, then call the doctor if I still felt like I needed to. I'm so glad Lily is better!
