Father's Day - we love Poppy!

I wish I could be with my father (AKA "Poppy") today! We are miles apart but VERY VERY close at heart. I don't want to get sappy but I can't help it. There are so many things that I love about my Poppy and this is the perfect day to share them. Here are just a few:

• knows how to make me laugh
• great joke teller
• listens to me when I need to talk ( I can talk to him about anything!)
• has such a giving heart
• is SO active....makes me tired just watching him....but he can get things done!
• loves his family (even moved back to Olive Branch to be near them)
• is really handsome and most people think he's my brother instead of my Dad (at least they used to!)
• has really neat hobbies like classic cars, horses, landscaping, cooking
• oh yeah, he is an INCREDIBLE cook!
• ....and a really good host (I often tell him that he should have his own bed and breakfast b/c he loves to serve people and make them feel special and at home)
• was a fun dad to grow up with....taking us to Disney, skiing, boating, camping
• taught me about good music! And yes, I can remember when I was a kid he would stand in front of the stereo and sing all those classic rock songs (that I now enjoy so much)
• has a contagious laugh
• loves to dance
• is a great Poppy to our Lily bear!
