Today is a VERY special day because it's April's birthday! She is one of my dearest friends and like I said....she is my hero. When I met April 9 years ago she was undergoing treatment for a brain tumor and she is a survivor! She has been through so much and is still taking chemo once a month but you would never know that if you met her. She is an absolute joy to be with and is the most positive, loving person I know. Through the strength of Jesus and the support of her sweet family and friends she is still smiling and enjoying life.
She spent a couple of days with us last week and we had a blast! Here are a few photos of our time together.
