We went back to the doctor yesterday hoping to hear that I had progressed in some way. Not yet. I still haven't dilated but they did an ultrasound and even though Lily is running out of room everything looks good at this point. (heart rate, amniotic fluid, etc....oh yeah, and she's still a girl :-)) That's the good news....the frightening news (for me) is that her approximate weight is 9 lbs. 13 oz.
We will go back to the doctor tomorrow to discuss our plans....to wait or be induced. Please pray for us to make the right decision. I am getting so impatient and uncomfortable but I want whatever is best for this baby.
I really appreciate the encouragement and prayers from our friends and family. And many of you have reminded us that we need to enjoy these last silent, relaxing moments as a couple b/c our life is about to drastically change. So, we are doing just that....going out to dinner and movies together and enjoying our quiet moments at home. We went to see Fireproof on our anniversary and I highly recommend this movie.
Well, I hope the next blog post will include pictures of a new baby girl!

By the time you read this Lily will be here. You are now "Mommy and Daddy"! One of the most memorable times in your lives is when you see and hold Lily for the first time! That is a feeling you will never forget. We are so thankful that everything went well and mommy and Lily are both healthy and doing great. Can't wait to see her! Sure would like to have that "feeling" once again!
